Rosemount Family Resource Center Grand Opening
Join 360 Communities and the City of Rosemount for an open house and grand opening at the newly expanded Rosemount Family Resource Center. Construction has been happening since June, and they are excited to finally share the new space with us. The 360 Communities Rosemount Family Resource Center is a neighborhood gathering place where families access healthy food, financial assistance, and a comprehensive network of community resources.
The Rosemount Family Resource Center and Food Shelf has been expanded, tripling in size to increase capacity and provide the necessary space to deliver effective services. The expansion project is a direct result of client feedback, community needs and key partnerships with the City of Rosemount and Senator Greg Clausen.
As a result of this expansion:
- 360 Communities will expand programming based on the needs of the people they serve. The current space is small and limits the services they are able to offer. The expanded space will provide the opportunity to identify needs of clients and build programming around those needs. The new space will have classroom areas, private offices, and more. With this increased space, they will be able to boost the support they provide to youth, families, and adults seeing services.
- The food shelf space will expand to become a healthy choice Super Shelf, providing greater access to healthy and fresh vegetables, fruits, proteins and more.
- The expansion will increase our ability to do long-term stability work with low-income community members. We will be able to connect people with more community resources that will prevent homelessness and increase positive and sustainable outcomes for the individuals they serve.
