Free "First Steps" Seminar for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners
The Chamber and City are partnering together to help you learn about this unique and successful small business and entrepreneur opportunity. Since 2013, the City of Apple Valley has offered free business consulting services to entrepreneurs and small businesses through the “Open To Business” program.
Open To Business Small Business Seminar Series
Starting in January 2020, Open to Business will begin hosting a monthly Small Business Seminar Series. The First Steps Seminar is scheduled for Wednesday Jan. 15. Additional seminars will be scheduled throughout the year.
The seminar is open to any current or aspiring entrepreneurs or small business owners. Karen Schaffhausen, Business Advisor for Open To Business for Dakota County Cities, will lead the First Steps Seminar. She has more than 10 years of experience working with small businesses in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The seminar will focus on the key issues to consider for people looking to either start or grow a small business.
