Chamber Luncheon with Guest Speaker Charles Zelle, Chair of the MET Council

Please join us for this important speaker who loves Apple Valley. Charles Zelle is the recently appointed Chair of the Metropolitan Council. He spoke to our Chamber nearly a decade ago and is thrilled to return. He rearranged his schedule just to speak to us - the legislature opens just a few days after our luncheon. The MET Council is very powerful and must approve growth for all cities in our 14-county region. They also control transit, water, drainage and all comprehensive plans.

Previously, Charles was the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) as well as owner of Jefferson lines. He also happens to be a good friend of our Mayor Mary so let's show our gratitude with a warm Apple Valley welcome!
